match

Note

Only applies to the @nplot command.

Specifies how to match compound stimuli in the stimulus-response history to the @nplot input.

If the simulation does not contain any compound stimuli, this parameter has no effect.

Syntax

match = exact
match = subset

Default

subset

Description

match = subset will make @nplot count compound stimuli in the stimulus-response history that are supersets of the @nplot input.

match = exact will make @nplot count only compound stimuli in the stimulus-response history that exactly matches the @nplot input.

Example

If the history is

e1 -> b1 -> e1,e2 -> b2 -> e1,e2,e3 -> b3

and

match = subset

then

@nplot e1

will count both e1, (e1,e2), and (e1,e2,e3) in the plot, and

@nplot e1,e2

will count both (e1,e2) and (e1,e2,e3).

Example

If the history is

e1 -> b1 -> e1,e2 -> b2 -> e1,e2,e3 -> b3

and

match = exact

then

@nplot e1

will count only e1, and

@nplot e1,e2

will count only (e1, e2).
